In the late 70s and early 80s I was very fortunate to work for the Key West citizen newspaper as a staff photographer I covered the Cuban boatlift major drug bust like this one here the largest drug seizure On record at the time 200 tons of panama red I was first photographer on site many stories behind this photo
As far back as the late 20s my great uncle Sal has been doing portraits in five of his different mask photography Studios I myself have been doing portraits since the mid-70s if you do the math between Sal and myself have been publishing images for over 90 years I am fortunate to have the entire collection with some incredible stories keep posted
Being a publisher Photographer for over 42 years I did carry some titles portraits of New York, The masked man from Manhattan The Go Go man let’s not forget Keith West publishing hundreds of sunset postcards While I was doing that I was working for the Key West citizen publishing historical events in the Florida Keys I could go on and on but you know me I hate to brag
On January 5 Lisa and I will be in Key West To put her stepdad Ricky to restWe are going to really miss you he was married to Lisa’s mom for 33 years
