Nothing like the Jersey shore beautiful long beaches, great food on the boardwalk, rides and at times these spectacular waves I spent alot of my childhood every summer on the Jersey shore since my mom had 12 brothers and sisters there you know those loud funny Italians that’s us, I ended up leaving Key West in the mid 80s I knew there were two projects I wanted to photograph the Jersey shore an New York City I spent 30 years in New York, but I went to the Jersey shore a lot ended up publishing a lot of postcards, brochures, even did a great poster from point Pleasant Pier, this photo right here was last September 21 my youngest son’s birthday I came up from Orlando to celebrate with him we stayed on the Jersey shore I took this photo of this massive wave it shook the ground when it hit the beach We ended up going for a swim the next day the waves were massive we had to be very careful back when I was a young man and in shape I could help maneuver these waves no I gave it a second thought

Jimmy Buffett a great friend of my grandfathers

There’s a bunch of stories between my grandfather and Jimmy Buffett they both really respected each other jimmy even wrote a song about him, The last Mango in Paris Wayback in the day my grandfather would let Jimmy jump on stage sing a couple of his songs, my grandfather knew a lot about good entertainment his two brothers were entertainers and his dad when I first moved to Key West from New Jersey I was a rock and roller Black Sabbath, Deep purple loved Pink Floyd and of course the Beatles Didn’t like that Jimmy Buffett, Grateful Dead music at all, I got to meet Jimmy Buffett a bunch of times when he came to visit my grandfather at the bar one of the most memorable was when Jimmy pulled up in front of the bar with his party bus 1976 He invited my grandfather and my grandfather let me come with him that was the first time I smoked weed with Jimmy Buffett and my grandfather I remember one of the bandmembers gave me a Budweiser if it wasn’t for Jimmy Buffett my grandfather would’ve never been elected in as a mayor of Key West

The Brazilian Dancers invade America the 80s

The Brazilian Dancers invade America the 80s

I post exotic dancers from time to time only because I published over 1200 of them and did hundreds of their portfolios, I’m the guy who use to publish a lot of girls holding the phone and looking very sexy and saying call me For $1.99 a minute I also supplied Howard Stern with a lot of those Snapple girls in the late 80s when all the smoke cleared I was contacted by CNBC to be on the Bob Berkowitz show, Real Personal I was one of the experts in dancers of America and nude photography it went coast to coast the reason why I post this one picture is because in 1989 about 1000 Brazilian girls got into this country to become strippers and meet some rich American suckers I saw it happen 100 times the Russians were the worst In New Jersey at the time there were over 200 strip clubs and 6000 exotic dancers running around between New York and New Jersey it was crazy back then

How it all got started

How it all got started

Back in the Late 70s and early 80s there was this incredible band called Devo you know that famous song Wip be good Well they also had a movie production company after my feature story came out in American photo about Sal in 2004 and my special cable TV show in Jersey The story was out I was approached by a bunch of different publishers and producers Evelyn did a book deal with one of the largest publishing companies in Europe Tashan publishing they just completed the Muhammad Ali book he gave me a nice little contract with check we were in motion as far as the movie rights Gerald Caselli from the band Devo made his move to buy the movie rights another great contract with check I ended up having too many cooks in the kitchen the whole thing blew up 18 years have gone by and I am now once again a free agent with a new book complete, A comedic look at a sexually driven mob family Funny as hell we also completed another book Key west the way it was the 70s Be very careful speeding in the fast lane with no seatbelts on the Keith and Lisa story

The 900 number was invented

Back in the late 80s a new business was born the famous 900 number call a beautiful hot young sexy girl and she will talk dirty to you and you can talk dirty to her it kind of took the world by storm it’s been going on for a while but now it was full blown out thing, we purchased a couple of those 900 numbers my job was to try to find girls with very seductive faces i use to call them faces of seduction they were just normal nice girls had nothing to do with what what the real girls on the other end of the phone we’re doing, you were never talking to the girl in the picture, either in the back of a magazines or little business cards thrown over the streets in a big City I had a friend who is very big in this business he had an office with over 30 girls on the phones if you got to listen in on the conversations it was hilarious I got to learn A lot about how fucked up guys Like us really are not me of course
