Sal Was Captain Tony’s older brother he has been performing all over the country since he was 17 mind reading, hypnotizing people while playing the piano he had a great act his name was a neon in two different clubs simultaneously Chicago an New Jersey you could check out all the original ads on this site pretty impressive They started just before Prohibition in 1928, I just made it to Key West for the first time in 1969 I was 13 the bar was crazy back then Sal had his mask photography studio upstairs, in another room there was the famous Captain Tony’s bachelor pad lots of crazy things went on above that bar a lot of great high stake card games, Captain Tony had some pretty good entertainment back then in the late 60s early 70s acid rock bands bongo players they say there was more action going on upstairs than down in the bar Sal had some pretty wild mask parties Tennessee Williams was there all the time The image you’re looking at here is Sal’s big slide projector he would project images on a big screen on stage downstairs in the bar while playing songs on his piano, the funny thing is I have all those original slides and projector I did two party’s already in Key West soon as this virus goes away I have big plans besides Sals imagery from the 60s and 70s there is my published works in Key West through the 70s and 80s, Sorry for all the bragging I’m in Jersey guy from New Jersey we can’t help it
